Blueprint has been producing high quality photographic art prints for many years.
One of our loyal customers, Giles Edwards, recently opened a solo exhibition of his work at The Union Studio in Soho. Giles is a naturally gifted photographer who captures everyday moments with great skill and awareness. His exhibition titled ‘London to the Bone’, showcased a body of work captured on the streets of our capital with his unmistakable reportage style. This particular show was produced mainly in black and white, only 3 in colour.
We print our photo art prints onto museum quality paper and use Ultrachrome inks for a perfect lightfast result. Giles’s images were all printed at the same size onto a 270gsm photo satin paper. We always run test prints to check the density and colour, or in this case the tone of the images to make sure they are perfect before we produce the final output. Giles trusts us and appreciates our skill and experience to reproduce his photo art prints to the highest possible level. All of this work will be for sale, so it has to be of the finest quality. We are passionate about creating art prints as they should be seen, adding care and attention to detail which enhance the final results.
In total there were 37 prints produced for the exhibition, and we understand that Giles sold 35 of them! A fantastic outcome for all concerned.
You don’t have to be a professional or about to hold a solo exhibition to make the most of our photo art print services. If you have a photo you are really proud of, why not turn it into a piece of photo art and give it pride of place at home or at work.
